The Blessed Book Nook offers this website, including all information, content, features, tools, products, and services available through the website, to you conditioned upon your acceptance of these Terms of Service and all other policies referenced in them.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to offer our products and Services to you.
By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use our website or Services.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, limit, or replace any product, collection, feature, or Service at any time. Products and Services may be available exclusively online and may be offered in limited quantities.
We do not guarantee that every product, collection, or item will remain available.
5. Mystery Boxes and Surprise Products
Many products offered by The Blessed Book Nook are mystery boxes, surprise boxes, blind-date book experiences, or thoughtfully curated collections. By purchasing one of these products, you understand and agree that:
- Product photographs are examples of the types of items that may be included and do not guarantee the exact contents of your order.
- Colors, styles, scents, flavors, titles, brands, designs, themes, and individual items may vary.
- Customer preferences help guide our selections but do not guarantee that every item will match a requested color, style, theme, or preference.
- Unless a particular item is expressly guaranteed in the product description, no specific product, brand, design, or title is promised.
- Comparable substitutions may be made based on inventory availability.
- The surprise and variety of the contents are an essential part of the mystery-box experience.
- The number and general categories of products included will be based on the applicable product description at the time of purchase.
Personal preferences, dislike of a particular item, or receiving an item the customer would not have personally selected do not make the order defective or eligible for a return or refund.
6. Books and Reading Preferences
When a customer provides reading preferences, favorite authors, Goodreads information, genres, content preferences, or similar information, we will make a reasonable effort to use that information when selecting a book.
However, we cannot guarantee that a customer has not previously read, purchased, borrowed, or received a selected title unless the customer provides complete and accurate information before the order is fulfilled.
We also cannot guarantee that every book will be free from themes, language, situations, or content that a customer may personally find objectionable. Customers are responsible for reviewing book descriptions and content information when appropriate, particularly when purchasing for children or teenagers.
7. Product Safety and Allergies
Some boxes may contain food, beverages, teas, coffee, cosmetics, bath products, fragrances, jewelry, accessories, or other items manufactured by third parties.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all ingredient lists, labels, warnings, age recommendations, care instructions, and manufacturer information before using or consuming a product. Do not use or consume any product containing an ingredient to which you may be allergic or sensitive.
Any self-care or wellness-related information provided through our website is for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Children should use age-appropriate products only with proper adult supervision.
Pet-Friendly Home Notice
The Blessed Book Nook is a home-based small business. Our products are stored and packed in a home where household pets are present.
We take reasonable precautions to keep our inventory, packing materials, and customer orders clean and protected. However, we cannot guarantee that products or packages will be completely free from pet hair, dander, or other pet-related allergens.
Customers with severe pet allergies should consider this information before placing an order.
8. Prices and Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices, promotions, discounts, product descriptions, and availability may change without notice.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other fees will be displayed during checkout when required.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, payment, shipping, and account information for all purchases. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method selected at checkout for the full amount of your order.
We reserve the right to correct pricing, description, discount, or calculation errors. If an error affects an order that has already been placed, we may contact you for instructions or cancel and refund the affected order.
9. Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to accept, refuse, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including:
- Product or inventory availability;
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity;
- Incorrect pricing or product information;
- Payment authorization problems;
- Shipping restrictions;
- Violations of these Terms or our other policies; or
- Orders that appear to have been placed for unauthorized resale.
If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund for the cancelled portion to the original payment method.
We may limit quantities purchased per person, household, account, payment method, billing address, shipping address, or order.
10. Order Changes and Cancellations
Orders begin processing shortly after they are placed. Requests to change or cancel an order must be submitted as soon as possible.
We will make a reasonable effort to accommodate a request made before fulfillment begins, but changes and cancellations are not guaranteed. Once an order has entered processing, been personalized, been packed, or been shipped, it may no longer be changed or cancelled.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their order details, email address, and shipping address before submitting an order.
11. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Because of the surprise-based and curated nature of our mystery boxes, mystery scoops, blind-date book products, and similar collections, these products are considered final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, materially incomplete, or incorrect.
We do not accept returns or exchanges based on:
- Dislike of a mystery item;
- Differences in color, pattern, style, scent, flavor, or design;
- Receiving an item the customer would not have personally selected;
- Receiving a book the customer has previously read when that information was not provided before fulfillment;
- Minor packaging variations; or
- A change of mind after the order has been processed.
If an order arrives damaged, defective, materially incomplete, or incorrect, contact us at theblessedbooknook@gmail.com within seven days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs of the product and shipping packaging.
Do not discard damaged products or packaging until we have reviewed the claim. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, replacement component, store credit, or refund.
All returns, refunds, and exchanges are also governed by our separately posted Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be waived.
12. Shipping and Delivery
Processing and delivery estimates are provided for convenience and are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise. Processing time refers to the time needed to prepare an order and does not include carrier transit time.
Delivery may be affected by holidays, severe weather, carrier delays, service interruptions, high order volume, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
When a material shipping delay occurs, we will provide notice and any options required by applicable law.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, refusal, failure to retrieve the package, or another customer-related delivery issue, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges before the package is resent.
When tracking shows that a package has been delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should check with household members, neighbors, the delivery carrier, and the local delivery office. We will provide reasonable assistance with a carrier inquiry, but carrier investigations and claim decisions remain subject to the carrier’s procedures.
13. Customer Accounts
You may be able to create an account through our website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and promptly update it when necessary. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.
We reserve the right to suspend or close an account that contains false information, is used fraudulently, violates these Terms, or threatens the security of our website or customers.
14. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions, giveaways, discounts, and coupon codes may be subject to additional rules, eligibility requirements, expiration dates, product exclusions, or quantity limits.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Discounts cannot be combined;
- Discount codes cannot be applied after an order has been placed;
- Promotions have no cash value;
- Discounts do not apply to taxes or shipping; and
- We may modify or end a promotion when permitted by law.
We reserve the right to cancel an order or promotion obtained through fraud, manipulation, technical error, or misuse.
15. Reviews, Comments, and Customer Content
You may have the opportunity to submit reviews, photographs, comments, suggestions, or other content.
You retain ownership of your original content. By submitting content to us or tagging The Blessed Book Nook in content that you invite us to share, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, share, and use that content for operating and promoting our business.
You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
We may remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or unrelated to the product or customer experience.
We are not required to publish every review or submission.

“The Blessed Book Nook,” “A Blessing in Every Box,” and related branding may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement without our written permission.

Our Services may include tools, payment services, applications, integrations, or links provided by third parties, including Shopify and payment, shipping, analytics, advertising, or social-media providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of websites and services that we do not own or control.
A link to a third-party website does not necessarily mean that we endorse every product, service, statement, or practice found there.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our total liability relating to a particular order will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
